Oscar O’Shea is a Tasmania-based singer-songwriter known for his folk based sound and story rich songwriting. Steeped in small town nostalgia, and poetic realism his music explores connection, transition and identity.
His debut EP, Last Lights & Lost Meaning, captures two years of personal highs and lows, unfolding as a deeply honest and dynamic collection of songs. Produced by John Castle (Vance Joy, Paul Kelly, Angie McMahon) the release received attention from national media outlets, with Rolling Stone Australia describing it as a “raw and dynamic journey, with equal parts weight and release.” The EP received airplay across Australia with plays on Triple J and rotation on Triple J Unearthed.
O’Shea is building a reputation as a charismatic live performer, with recent appearances at Festivale and Party In The Paddock.
